About Us We are homeowners who have purchased new homes in the past only to be astonished by the disturbingly dishonest way with which our builders have dealt with us. Though we would love to have been able to strangle the truth out of our building superintendents, alas there were (and still are) laws preventing that. So, we'll just have to settle with venting and enjoying the stories we hear from you. Though we live in Texas - arguably the most builder-friendly state in the Union, and probably the haven of more unabashed construction industry (and other) liars than the law allows, e.g. George W. Bush, Tom Delay, the Enron gang, et al - we don't believe this is a practice that is unique to the Lone Star State. And that's the truth . . .well, mostly. |
